HAWK'S PROJECT 8 WINS AWARD
SPIKE TV VIDEO AWARDS ANNOUNCED
Activision, Inc. announced today that Tony
Hawk’s Project 8™ and RedOctane’s Guitar Hero
II™ were honored at the Spike TV 2006 Video Game Awards show,
held on Friday night at the University of Southern California’s
Galen Center in Los Angeles. Tony Hawk’s Project 8 won the
“Best Individual Sports Game” award and Guitar Hero
II earned “Best Soundtrack” honors.
“We’re thrilled that Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and
Guitar Hero II won VGAs,” said Will Kassoy, senior vice president
of global brand management. “The development teams at Neversoft
and Harmonix are committed to developing innovative and entertaining
video games and this acknowledgement from the fans is a testament
to all of their hard work.”

RAISES IN EXCESS OF $950,000 AT
3RD ANNUAL STAR-STUDDED EVENT
November 5, Beverly Hills, Green Acres Estate
Los Angeles, CA –
November 5, 2006 – The Tony Hawk Foundation held
its 3rd annual Tony Hawk’s Project 8 Stand Up For Skateparks
benefit Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Green Acres estate in
Beverly Hills. With 1,000 guests in attendance, the Foundation
raised in excess of$950,000.
Celebrities in attendance: Tony Hawk, Jamie Lee Curtis, Fred Durst,
Michael Rapaport, Holly Robinson-Peete, Kathy Ireland, David Spade,
Shaun White, Kenny G, Mat Hoffman, Jakob Dylan, Leeza Gibbons,
Jon Favreau, John Fogerty, and Scott Niedermayer.
The family-friendly event featured a vertical skateboarding and
BMX exhibition by Hawk and other X Games champions, carnival games
and activities, live music by Anarchy Orchestra (with guest appearances
by Perry Farrell and Colin Hay) and rapper Lupe Fiasco, and a
live auction featuring a one-of-a-kind “2007 Tony Hawk Dub
Edition Jeep 4-Door Wrangler,” first-off-the-line special
edition. This is the third year that Activision has joined this
event as Title Sponsor.
The Foundation, whose mission is to help finance and provide guidance
in the development of free public skateparks in low-income areas
across the United States, has awarded $1.3-million in grants since
its inception in 2002.

TONY HAWK IN BOOM BOOM SABOTAGE
WINS ANIMATION AWARDS
On Thursday evening, September 14th in Vancouver,
B.C. the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts
(CAEAA) winners were united with their Elan statuette. The theatre
was packed with video game and animation luminaries as well as
new media art schools' top talents who were wined, dined and entertained
by Mr. William Shatner and a host of industry celebrities. In
the category for animated feature movies, Tony Hawk in Boom
Boom Sabotage won the top prize for Best Animated Feature,
as well as the prize for Best Original Music Score. The movie
was also nominated for Best Production Design or Art Direction.
Congratulations to Mainframe Entertainment and Ben Burden Smith
and crew for their fine achievements! And hopefully more awards
to come!

Tony Hawk honored at the charity
event and helps raise $240,000
Tony Hawk was one of the nine honorees
at this year's charity
event which raises money to help fight Parkinson's Disease
through the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological
Center in Phoenix and other charities. Tony was honored along
with Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Reba McEntire, David Foster,
Sir Richard Branson, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Kenny "Babyface"
Edmonds, and Renee Olstead. The event raised $5 million overall.
An afternoon with Tony Hawk was auctioned, with two winners at
$120,000 each! A portion of Tony's auction also went to benefit
the Tony
Hawk Foundation.

Tony attends the premier of The
Search for Animal Chin documentary
Members
of the original Powell Peralta Bones Brigade attended the
premier of the behind-the-scenes documentary film about the infamous
1986 "Search For Animal Chin" skate video. Tony Hawk,
Steve Caballero,
Tommy Guerrero, Lance Mountain, and Mike McGill joined "Chin"
director
Stacy Peralta and a host of guests at the screening, which took
place
just blocks away from the theatre where the original "Chin"
video
debuted 20 years before.

Hosted by FUEL TV,
which will air the documentary, the premier saw a
packed house of about 250 guests who responded to the screen as
classic
footage was presented on-screen and some of the video's more humorous
moments were highlighted. The 45-minute documentary was followed
by a
Q&A period with the five original skaters and the director
standing
side-by-side for the first time in literally decades. The chemistry
that made the Bones Brigade skateboarding's most famous squad
was
immediately apparent as they joked with each other and reminisced
about
their time together and the courses their lives have taken since
the
original Brigade disbanded in the early 1990s.

Tony is featured in Super Bowl
Sunday spots for Desperate Housewives
Tony,
along with superstars Shaquille O'Neal, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hugh
Hefner and Matt Leinar,t was featured in promo commercials for
Desperate Housewives. The spots ran prior to and during
the Super Bowl and were much more memorable than that GoDaddy
commercial with the hot chick. Filmed in various locations around
Los Angeles, including the Playboy Mansion, the promos takes a
humorous look at the way men feel about all the goings on at Wisteria
Lane and the housewives on Desperate Housewives.

WASTELAND WINS VGA
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland was named Best Individual Sports
Game at the 2005 Spike TV's Video Game Awards show, held November
18th, 2005 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. The third
annual Spike TV “Video Game Awards 2005," hosted by Samuel
L. Jackson will premiere on Spike TV on Saturday, December 10 from

Amby Valley Sahara Lake City, October 18, 2004 - Some of the world's
greatest sporting legends have flown from all over the globe to
take part in the second Laureus Academy Forum at Amby Valley, Sahara
Lake City, India. The Academy Forum 2004 runs from October 18 -
20, 2004.
Those taking part in the Forum are Giacomo Agostini, Boris Becker,
Sir Bobby Charlton, Kapil Dev, Emerson Fittipaldi, Sean Fitzpatrick,
Tanni Grey-Thompson, Tony Hawk, Kip Keino, Edwin Moses, Nawal El
Moutawakel, Ilie Nastase, Morné du Plessis, Hugo Porta, and
Daley Thompson.
The Laureus World Sports Academy is a unique association of 41 of
the greatest sportsmen and sportswomen of all time whose mission
is to expand the positive influence that sport can have on society.
Among the issues to be discussed at the Forum is the global expansion
of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. The Foundation is already
expanding its activities in India, with a new Women in Sport project
being set up by legendary Indian athlete PT Usha and IOC member
and Olympic Gold medallist, Nawal El Moutawakel.
The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation was set up to fund and promote
the use of sport as a tool for social change, and forms the raison
d'etre of Laureus. Its work focuses on helping young people overcome
poverty, homelessness, war, violence, drug abuse, discrimination
and AIDS. To achieve this goal, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation
supports 26 projects worldwide, a number which is growing each year.
With a growing population of over one billion, India is a key location
for Laureus which already supports two projects in India - "Magic
Bus Sports Programme in Mumbai which creates 'classrooms without
walls' offering sports activities, education, food and healthcare
to underprivileged youngsters.
" Sucheta Kriplani Shiksha Niketan (SKSN) in Rajasthan, a school
for the disabled, including polio victims, which helps to break
down community prejudices by using sport to bring disabled and able-bodied
children together.
DEMOLITION
RADIO DESTROYS THE AIRWAVES
Tony Hawk's Demolition Radio, which airs every Tuesday at 7:00 ET
and 4:00 PST on Sirius Satellite Radio's channel 28 Faction, has
become THE new place to be. In it's second week on the air, pro
skateboarder and snowboarder Shaun White dropped by to end the show.
Week 3 featured guest hosts Bucky Lasek and Mat Hoffman. There was
even an unscheduled surprise phone call from legendary punk rocker
Mike Palm from Agent Orange. The show is also co-hosted weekly by
well known skaters Jason Ellis and Jesse Fritsch. Who knows who
