A. Not at all. I learned a lot from my friends by watching
their different styles.

A. I just learned switch shove-it nosegrinds (backside) on vert.
It took
about a month to finally land one.

What is your favorite place to skate on a regular basis?
A. On our Boom Boom HuckJam ramp, which
is set up in our warehouse in San Diego.

I was wondering about your new game "Tony Hawk's Project
8." Do you know which pros will be in it, and what levels?
A. I can't give out levels yet, but the pros are myself, Paul
Rodriguez, Mike V, Bob Burnquist, Rodney Mullen, Stevie Williams,
Daewon Song, Ryan Sheckler, Dustin Dolllin, Lyn-Z Adams and
Nyjah Huston.

Do you think at 27 years old I’m too old to learn to skate?

A. Not at all. Take your time, and only try stuff you are comfortable
with.

Whats going on with Birdhouse lately? Who is officially on the
team right now? I love the new graphics. - Jake L.
A. We are working on a video to be released early next year.
The current lineup is Willy Santos, Steve Nesser, Shaun White,
Ragdoll, Matt Ball, Jean Postec, Sean Eaton, Brian Sumner, Jon
Goemann and Shaun Gregoire. Oh - and me.

Do you ever watch skate videos to get pumped up before skating?
What's your favorite video?
A.
Anything with Bob Burnquist or Danny Way doing new stuff gets
me excited to hit the vert ramp.

What do you like to do with your free time, if you have any?
A.
Hang out with my kids. We like to swim, watch movies, play video
games and bounce on the trampoline.

How often do you set up a new board? Sometimes I break my board

I try to make my decks last a month or so, but sometimes mine
get thrashed in a couple weeks as well..
